George Philip Searle was born in Hastings in 1884.
He attested for The Canadian Army Medical Corps on 16th February 1916, rank specified as Honorary Lt and Quartermaster.He worked as a broker in Canada.
On 19/08/1918 he was wounded by an aerial bomb,and thrown against a building, causing contusions and concussion, later suffering from shock and hysteria.
He was medically discharged on 03/11/1919
