Medals very fine or better, on original ribbons and mounted on pin as worn, the star ribbon very frayed.
George H Stone arrived in France on 15/08/1914.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was transferred to Rouen on 18th May, 1915.
"C" squadron 12th Lancers are famous for their charge at Moy on 27th August 1914, with A and B squadrons supporting with rifle fire.
Later service as L/13002 Corps of Hussars
