Medals about vert fine, dark toned with some contact wear. court mounted for display. James Fairminer was born at Selbourne, Alton. Hampshire in 1866.
He attested for the Royal Artillery on 9th October, 1886, having previously served with the 1st Hampshire Rifle Volunteers, trade given as a Farm Labourer.He injured his right knee on duty on 9th October, 1889.He served in India, South Africa and at home-he was discharged 1902.
