Thomas Hill Clarke was born in the parish of St.Benedict's Norwich in 1880.Having served in The Boer War and being discharged time expired in 1907, he attested for The Norfolk Regiment on 9th September, 1914 address given as 88, Muriel Road, Norwich.Arrived in France on n12/05/1915.Gunshot wound hand and knee, 28/06/1917
Gunshot wound L/Hand mild in 1918 (not clear enough to confirm date)
Must have lost his medals at some stage and succeeded in applying for official replacements.M.I.C states replaced on 12/05/1962.
