Tom Griffitrhs was born in Shrewsbury in 1896,he attested for the Royal Artillery in 1914.He served with the 54th Company Royal Garrison Artillery, and is only entitled to the British War Medal for WW2 as all of his service appears to have been in India.
He is also entitled to the Waziristan 1921-24 clasp. He is listed on the roll listed in Richard G.L.M. Stiles book "Taming the Tiger" as being entitled to both of these clasps, serving with the 10th pack battery-it also noted that 10 pack battery qualified for the Malabar 1921-22 before the Waziristan 1921-24 clasp-copy of roll with group.
Scarce group worthy of further research.
