He is buried at Pembroke Dock (Llanion) Cemetery.
George William Blake was born at Stowmarket, Suffolk in 1883.Having joined the Royal Navy in 1901, he served on a multitude of Ships and Shore Bases, in WW1 he served on Vivid II (TB 033) 1603/915 to 31/03/1915 and TB 045 from 1st Aoril 1915until 09/05/1918 when he died of shock at The Pembroke Dock hospital undergoing an operation under anaesthetic for a double hernia.He had received his Long Service Medal in 1917
