Second Lieutenant Harry Spencer Seabrook 16th Btn., Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment) was killed in action on 12th July,1916 age 32.
The Son of Walter and Selina Seabrook, of Berden Priory, Stanstead, Essex.
He is Commemorated on The Loos Memorial.
He was gazetted from The Inns of Court Training Corps (no 4138 O.T.C.) to be 2nd Lieutenant 4th September, 1915.
On The 1911 census he is listed as an Assistant Master, and is on The University of London's Roll of Honour which lists all who served during WW1.
He is listed on The Tower Of London's Roll of honour
and his name was read out on The 15th September, 2014 by Yeoman Warder Simon Dodd as part of The Tower's commemoration's remembrance of WW1.
