George Henry Crawford was born in Kingston, Hull on 15/08/1899.First attested with East Yorkshire Regt on the 18th May 1915 address given as Burton Pidsea, Hull.Transferred to The Military Foot Police,was discharged from them and re-enlisted with the Welsh Guards on 28/06/1922, and then transferred back to the East Yorkshire Regt. to serve with his brother.Latterly served as an Instructor and teacher.He was finally discharged on 21/09/1936.Long Service Medal approved 05/06/1935
