William Rickwood was born in Norwich, Norfolk and was 44 years old when he enlisted in the A.I.F,trade given as a Brush-maker. He enlisted at Adelaide, Australia on 18th August, 1915.
Promoted to Staff Armourer Serjeant. fractured his wrist in The Armourers shop, in the course of his duties.
