Medals extremely fine, later issues, naming style on both medals is identical to that used on the 1854 I.G.S "PEGU" clasp.It is speculated that his original medals were possibly lost during The Indian Mutiny,where he served with the Oudh Field Force.
John Tomlinson enlisted in Bengal Artillery(The 2nd Troop 2nd Brigade Horse Artillery )on 27th May, 1843.He died in September, 1862.
