Stephen Samuel Crowe was born around 1880 in All Saints Norwich.He attested for The Norfolk Regt on 18th November, 1902, having previously served in The Militia Btn., Norfolk Regt.
He was mobilized at Nowich on 06/08/1914 and arriced in France on 16/08/1914.
Papers show that he was wounded, and taken Prisoner of War ON 24/08/1914.
German P.O.W.Records show him as being taken as a P.O.W at Mons 24/08/1914, held at Gefangenanlager Doberits and his Mother living at 85,Cow Gate St., Norwich.
