Thomas Edward Moore was born on 15th January 1886 in Gosport, Hants. He enlisted in The Royal Marines on 8th July, 1901
It is noted that hr served on H M Y Victoria and Albert from June 1919 until September 1922 and again in 1923.
He is entitled to a 1914/15 Star trio and was awarded the Long Service medal on 11/09/1919.He was recommended for the annuity MSM in 1929 having completed 21 years pensionable service, but had to wait until 1951 to receive it (this was when the register was cleared) Moore is listed in the book "Irreproachable Character" The award of the Royal Marines Meritorious Service Medal by John Bilclliffe of the Royal Marines Historical Society
