William Huggins was born at Gissing, Diss, Norfolk around 1876.He attested for the Norfolk Regt on 12th November, 1894.He arrived in France on 16/08/1914 and was wounded on 24/08/1914 and reported as missing -treated at a private Hospital near St.Eloi.,later captured and taken to Germany as a Prisoner Of War and held at Gefanenlager. Repatriated 04/12/1918
