Medals very fine, with a little contact wear, suspension a little loose on Q.S.A., and a couple of edge "nibbles" on Long Service Medal.
Frances Read was born in Dunmow, Essex around 1872.He attested for the Essex Regt on 29th November, 1890.Discharged 12th September, 1909.
It is noted on his Attestation papers that he is an "excellent Draughtsman"
