Larry Setchell was born in Gamblingay,Cambridgeshire in 1839,and attested for the 22nd Regiment in 1860.He transferred to the 50th foot in 1863.
He served in New Zealand from 15th November 1863 to 8th October 1866,and in Australia from 9th October 1866 to 14th June 1869.Home service until July 1882.
